2. Canon PowerShot SX210 IS
It features a 14 megapixel sensor. An f/3.1-5.9 lens starts at a wide 28mm angle and offers 14x optical zoom. A 3.0 inch wide-aspect display occupies the back panel. Like the SX200 before it, the SX210 will record 720p HD video, but this time it’s available through a dedicated video record button. Much of the control layout remains the same from the previous generation, though the mode dial has been moved to the back panel.
3. Lumix DMC TZ10
A 12X Panasonic’s new DMC-TZ10 with an optically stabilised 25-300mm lens in a compact body offers 12.1 megapixels of resolution and manual exposure control. Comprising 10 elements in 8 groups, including 2 ED lenses and 2 aspherical lenses with 3 aspherical surfaces, and utilising new lens material in its design, this advanced lens unit realizes the outstandingly slim and compact body while passing Leica’s stringent standards to deliver exceptional optical performance, the company claims. The new model has a 14.5-megapixel CCD and shoots with up to 12.1-megapixel resolution. And finally, the TZ10 features A, S and M exposure modes for creative photographers. 720p HD movie recording and SDXC support round off the features list. Availability is slated for mid March 2010.

Successor to the F70EXR released last year, the new camera with switchable sensor technology sees the addition of HD video, 10x (27-270mm equiv.) optical zoom lens and a larger 3.0 inch LCD.
